The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme

Take your Bronze Award with Up N Over Dog Training Club at the Show!

The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme is the largest dog training scheme in the UK. Its aim is to promote responsible dog ownership and in turn, enhance our relationship with our pets and to make the community aware of the benefits associated with dog ownership. Dog training classes are also a great way to socialise your dog and meet other dog owners. So whether you have a beginner puppy or an older dog in need of a refresher class, find a dog training class to suit you with the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme.

What does the Award entail?
The Bronze Award aims to produce a dog that will walk and behave in a controlled manner. It is a basic standard that all adult dogs can achieve with correct handling. Owners must show that they have means of picking up after their dog and that their dog is wearing a lead and collar with name and the address of the owner inscribed on the collar/disc to take part. Successful participants will receive an A4 Certificate of achievement.
